Get Ready for Kisii Book Fair with Your Oxford Wishlist

by | May 27, 2025 | Blog, Events

Oxford University Press East Africa is pleased to introduce the Oxford Wishlist – a simple, effective way for parents, learners, and schools to enjoy discounted prices at the Kisii Regional Book Fair, taking place from 28 May to 1 June 2025.

We’ve curated each wishlist for the Kenyan Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC), featuring essential readers, workbooks, and reference books from Preschool (PP1–PP2) to Grade 9.

Download the Oxford Wishlist

You can now download and print the wishlist for your child’s grade level, carry it to the book fair, and shop at the Oxford stand.

These wishlists have been developed with both learners and schools in mind. Parents can use them to make informed purchasing decisions, while schools can use them to plan bulk purchases or provide booklists to students in advance.

Each wishlist also contains study tips, a goal-setting section, and guidance on how to revise effectively – all aligned with OUP’s mission to support lifelong learning.

About the Kisii Regional Book Fair

Oxford University Press East Africa will be exhibiting at the Kisii Regional Book Fair from 28 May to 1 June 2025, held at the Quickmart Supermarket Parking Area along Kisii–Kisumu Road.

We invite all learners, teachers, and parents to visit our tent at Stands 13 & 14. The fair will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, and entry is free of charge.

This year’s theme is “Inspiring Readers, Shaping Futures” – a call to action for all of us to invest in resources that build confident, well-rounded readers.

Exclusive Offers at the Oxford Tent

Visitors to the Oxford stand will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

  • 15% discount on all books
  • A free gift for every purchase of five or more books
  • For schools: Buy books worth Ksh 5,000 or more and enter a grand draw to win Oxford Library Packs. A total of six schools will be selected.

You will also have the opportunity to consult our Education Business Advisors (EBAs) for personalised textbook recommendations, support materials, and advice on navigating curriculum changes – including the Grade 10 pathways.

Our team will be on hand to answer questions, guide book selection, and support both individual and institutional buyers.

Plan Ahead!

We encourage all attendees to download the relevant Oxford Wishlist before the event and bring it along to help streamline their book selection process.
