Description
The craze for writing to penpals sweeps Mukibi’s Institute for the Sons of African Gentlemen. Anywhere else, this would be a harmless enough hobby but at Mukibi’s, even a letter can be dynamite. And, not surprisingly, Moses and King Kong are right in the middle of the explosion.
Then there is the new boy, Kasali, who has an unusual hobby of his own. Hidden in the dormitory, he’s set up a strange contraption for making wine. Everyone in Dorm 3 agrees it is very good wine, and that Kasali has a bright future ahead of him in the liquor business. Perhaps he has … but before Kasali’s wine makes him a fortune, it’s destined to play a remarkable role in the history of Mukibi’s Institute for the Sons of African Gentlemen.
‘Moses and the Penpal’ is the eighth title in the adventures of Barbara Kimenye’s mischievous Ugandan schoolboy.
